Corns are similar to callus made from thickened skin from friction and pressure. They appear mostly on the side or the top of the toes. Corns may also form on the sole of the foot. Types of corns are hard, soft, seed, and interdigital.
Corns are usually come from your foot rubbing against your shoe or from the way your foot strikes the ground when you walk. Poor footwear can also make corns worse. Removing a corn is usually painless, and we can usually give some helpful advice to help prevent their return.
